Bubbie’s Pixie is the designer's almost four year old daughter Jaye Anne. Before she was born Bubbie knew her nickname was going to be Pixie! Now, her pixie and her make cakes with sprinkles and Jaye brings so much sunshine to her. This quilt is all of the above. A new take on a two color way quilt giving a big nod to the old gold but the new curry. A touch of the designer's favorite hand embroidery on half of the blocks. Turner-Goodhart used the same few simple stitches and did some improv work to make the hand embroidery details come to life. Inspired by a quilt that Bubbie found at an antique mall!
