This traditional Civil War line is inspired by Mollie Dorsey and her story following her husband’s dream of striking it rich, mining for gold in the Colorado Rockies in the mid 1800’s. Mollie was a steady and identifiable figure amongst the gold mining camps often the only female, she cooked, sewed and took in laundry. The patterns and colors of this collection definitely are reminiscent of ones Mollie might have sew with or laundered in her time!
