Rotary Cutting Class Fee $10.00
Our Rotary Cutting Class is a prerequisite to taking a Beginner's Class. Pick a class, we have two class options for March of 2017. This class will go over the basics of using a rotary cutter, teach you the correct methods, proper usage, help with making your cutting more accurate and overall safety issues. Please bring your rotary cutter with a new blade, cutting mat, ruler and 1/2 yd. of good quality cotton fabric. If you do not have these supplies, you may purchase them and receive a 15% discount.

Beginning Quilting Class
Beginning Quilting Class--must take a Rotary Cutting Class first...our Beginning Quilting Class will take you from start to finish, including cutting, sewing, quilting and binding...each class runs for 2 hours, with optional homework, depending on how quick you are....please pick a starting date and time when you sign up....you will need a sewing machine that is in good working order, quality thread, needles, a 1/4" foot and walking foot for you specific machine. If in doubt, please come and see me. The Beginning Quilting Class will have 4 actual class meetings, the $50 class fee covers all classes. You will need to purchase the pattern, "Take 5" and fabrics - a 15% discount is given for all items necessary for your class, including your pattern and fabrics.

Make & Take Table Topper - March 11 - 2 - 5 pm.
Join us for a Make & Take Spring Rabbit Topper on March 11th. You will need to purchase the pattern "Bunnies Candle Mat. You may supply your own wools or you may purchase an optional kit. Class will start at 2pm. until 5 pm. ...please bring the following supplies, paper scissors, a pair of scissors to cut fabric/wool, needles, pencil, or marking tool, floss or perle cotton of your choice. We will have kits available for a small fee. If purchasing a wool kit, you will receive all the wool for the top, all appliques, the backer wool and a yarn dyed flannel for the backing.
St. Joseph Quilt Event - March 31 - 8:30 am - 3 pm.
I will be offering a Wool Applique Class at the St. Joseph's Quilt Event on March 31, Friday, from 8:30 am. - 3 pm. The class will be held in Rice Lake in the Church basement. The Fee for the Class is $65, which includes your pattern, Spring Bulbs, by Debbie Busby of Wooden Spool Designs and the wool kit for the project. You will need to supply your own threads or purchase an optional DMC thread kit or Valdani Perle Cotton thread kit, prices are listed. You will need to bring your regular hand sewing supplies, scissors, pencil or marking tools. We will be showing you the fusible method using Lite Steam a Seam 2, which you may purchase ahead of time and have us bring with to class.
I am not charging a class fee for this event, plus I will be donating $10 from each student attending the class; to the St. Joseph Quilt Event.
